I had the opportunity to tour a green building in midtown Detroit. It's a co-working space called "Green Garage". What's so fascinating about this building is that 1. it used to be a Model-T showroom. 2. During the process of repurposing this building, the owner and his team reused the material left in the showroom and from other places. 3. There are many residents in this co-working space are community sustainability leaders! There are so many cool features about this building, and if you happen to be in Detroit, you should really check it out! They offer tours for the building every Friday followed by a community lunch.

the article gives pretty good insights about the truth of expiration date. there is a big difference among the label marked "best if used by", "use by", and "sell by" date. link: https://health.clevelandclinic.org/trash-it-or-eat-it-the-truth-about-expiration-dates/amp/
    Read it and practice it!

while you mulch your tree and plants, remember not to get it too close to the house, because it may create mold.
