Climate change and other systems such as racism, sexism, colonialism, ableism, and our political and economic structures in our world are intimately connected. I will watch at least 2 of the videos/podcast episodes to learn about environmental/climate justice.

Watch 2 or more talks, documentaries, films about how wellness and environmental justice go hand in hand. Short films in "Learn More". I will plan ahead to only use paper products made from post-consumer recycled paper for my home or office.

I will encourage my office to hold meetings virtually whenever possible instead of requiring travel.

I will cut my car trip mileage by only taking necessary trips, and I will only use muscle-powered transportation for all other trips.

I will start a compost bin where I live.

I will shop from women-owned business(es) today.

I will cook 3 meal(s) with zero-waste each day

I will watch a video about methane digesters (also commonly known as anaerobic digesters).

I will spend at least 20 minutes learning more about the energy generation potential of biomass.

I will make a donation to a nonprofit that installs microgeneration in low income countries.

I will replace 4 incandescent lightbulb(s) with Energy Star-certified LED bulbs, saving up to $14 per fixture per year.

I will sign up for my utility company's clean/renewable energy option. If my utility does not offer one, I will purchase Renewable Energy Credits to match my usage.

Reduce energy use by doing simple actions such as turning the lights off when you are the last to leave a room, using smart power strips, and turning off small appliances around your desk when not in use. At Home or a NW Natural Location we encourage you to: -Turn the lights off when you leave a room. Don't forget those little desk lamps! -Turn off TVs when no one is watching -Close bay doors if the heat or A/C is on -Alert SEEC and or facilities if you are notice light sensors not working properly
