today's weather reminds me how uncertain it can be

  • Chris Kane 6/22/2020 6:33 AM
everything is well here in port st john, florida; the weather is hot, but sunny; i'm having great opportunities to read and study; i'm particularly interested in the fact that Pachamama Alliance is a partner in Drawdown and between both of these sources i'm learning tons of new information; everything is intertwined, as is my life,  although sometimes i think rather than intertwined i'd say knotted beyond belief

I sure am learning a lot with this drawdown challenge again this year; it's amazing how much information is available here to help us ; for some reason i'm having a problem with remembering to sign in every day so i've now put a reminder on my calendar - let's see if this helps.......starting july 1st i'll be team captain for the plastic free challenge and the food challenge - keeping myself busy and looking forward to learning even more things; changes are coming in all areas of our lives......

i am really learning so much!  everything i'm doing this unusual period in my life seems to have a common thread unbeknowst to me!
I hope that you are all well and safe

I completely agree. It is amazing to know that you are making a difference in a time when so many crises are happening.

i'm thankful to have these challenges to keep my mind occupied; i'm learning a lot, especially since i'm also doing studies with pachamama alliance and they're very closely aligned with drawdown.  i hope everyone is well and safe.

i'm curious if any participants have heard of "earthing" (i call it "grounding") and if so, have you done it?  thanks for any input

So happy to be so busy with all my ecochallenges.  This all came together at the perfect time for me.  I'll be sheltered in place for a while yet since i'm high risk, so doing 4 or 5 challenges/classes at the same time is keeping me quite busy.  I enjoy learning and the friendship of not only my team members, but other participants.

Happy June!  I am hoping that June will bring with it some calm.  Just an FYI for our team members, today I sent out invitations for our folks to join our teams for the PLASTIC ECOCHALLENGE and another private challenge. Hopefully we'll get good turnouts for all of them.  I learn new things with every challenge I participate in.
