Reflection QuestionTransportation Conduct Virtual MeetingsHow can you ensure that your virtual meetings honor your values and your company's culture?
Emilia Godinez 5/01/2022 8:12 PMSince I do not work for a company, I will apply this to my own personal experience as a student who has been a part of Zoom meetings before. Reflection QuestionFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Emilia Godinez 4/17/2022 10:41 PMTo answer the first question, it may also have to do with cultural, religious, and financial reasons. Eating more (red) meat is known to cause bowel cancer, cardiovascular disease, and an increase in greenhouse gas emissions. -

Reflection QuestionAction Track: Healing & Renewal Eat MindfullyMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How does your eating experience differ when practicing mindfulness?
Emilia Godinez 2/07/2022 6:22 PMIn my experience, I noticed while I was eating there was an urge to go on social media or turn on my television considering how that has somewhat become a habit for me. However, I allowed myself to fully enjoy my meal and recognize when I was truly full. -
Reflection QuestionTransportation Learn about Carbon OffsetsWhat are some attributes of an offset that you should consider before purchasing them?
Emilia Godinez 1/26/2022 10:29 PMSome attributes include permanence, additionality, verification, responsible conduct, and ease. Offset projects must have these attributes to be considered effective in achieving the main goal of reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases, and thus benefit the environment through reducing the effects of climate change.
