    More than 400 million tons of plastic are produced worldwide every year. More than 1/3 of all plastics produced are single-use packaging. I'm conducting a film series addressing reduction of single use plastic with our local environmental group, 100Grannies.org. Check it out. Joan Cook

    Whatever food waste I have goes into a paper bag in my freezer which combines with yard waste for pick up on Fridays by the City of Iowa City.
