How can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?

I think that by shopping at thrift stores or small businesses will allow me to keep my own personal style but not contribute to the problem of fast fashion. It will also keep items out of landfills. Also, I want to start shopping at more festivals and communities’ stores for my accessories. Using small businesses will ensure that I am not contributing to the fast fashion industry.

Also, shopping second hand or small business will ensure that I am getting pieces that will last longer than if I would purchase them from any retail or fast fashion companies. This will save me money in the long run as well because I won’t have to keep spending money on objects that didn’t last long enough.

An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

I would rather spend that money on helping pay off my debts. Paying off my debts is going to benefit me in the long run. That money would definitely be more beneficial when applied to my future than it does just going in the trash.
